lovely! last night i was revisiting the cottignley fairies photographs (http://tinyurl.com/33tkb5p !), and your little ladies remind me so much of those lovely cut-outs the girls had made!
Gabriela - That is quite the compliment! thanks. The Cottingley fairies are so special.
Pippa- yep! the 2nd girl has a dress made from tracing paper. I used to do lots of these see through dresses towards the end of highscool and only recently re-discovered it.
I love those little ladies! They remind me, in a silly little way, about the part of the book "Little House on the Prairie" or some such, where they are making paper dolls out of the old catalogues they cut out.
I'm so intrigued by that last image - it looks so fragile and lovely. The way you're using dried flowers is really interesting, too. It makes me think about my grandma for some reason.... which is AWESOME :D :D :D :D
So pretty<33

ReplyDeleteAgh! Is that like a grease proof paper overlay?! Beautiful what a wonderful idea! Cant wait to see more using that technique.
