You are quiet perfect Caitlin Shearer.
aw, if only. You're too sweet. :)
I love these kinds of posts the best. Have you gone vegan?
Thanks!p.s.No, i'm not going Vegan, (i've not got that much willpower when it comes to food and i like eating sushi a bit too much), just trying out a dairy free diet for a while to see if it suits me and if it has any positive effects.
I'm almost done watching Twin Peaks all over again for the 3rd time now, as we speak.
Isn't it the best! Who is your favourite character?Of course, for me, Dale cooper and his pretty eyelashes probably win, but i'm also pretty fond of Pete Martell and his 'there's a fish in the percolator!' situation.p.s. once on ebay i found a twin peaks boardgame! it was too expensive for me to buy, but i think i should try and track another one down.
Ooooh, that diary looks so handy! I quite like it! And Twin Peaks casette, that's awesome! Is it like the show's soundtrack?
Thanks - the diary is by o-check and the front cover looks like a french novel. i fell head over heels for it.The casette has the theme song 'falling' - one Angelo Badalamenti version, and one Julee Cruise version.
Too much awesomeness going on here. Norwegian fabric, twin peaks and the cigarette smoking man? Amazing. Also I commend you for going dairy-free. I used to get random tummy aches, but not any more. My skin is clearer too. Make sure to take a multi-vitamin as a precaution also! x
:)Yes, i'm hoping that the dairy free diet will help with skin problems. I also feel so much clearer and less puffy in general, so that's a good sign.(thanks for the tips too - i'm going to have to find some soy ice-cream!)Fran Drescher was talking about living dairy free in her autobiography, so i got a bit inspired i guess. Eating communally with my vegan/vegetarian friends has made me think alot more about what i'm putting into my system too.
yay map over norway! where did you get it? Id love to make a map-dress somehow
I found the map fabric at a warehouse near where my parents live.
just perfect.PS i have a TP tape too.
we're hoping to go to Norway this year! exciting. can't wait to see your dress!!
That's so exciting - good luck Kelly!p.s. would you still be keen to meet up and get tea in newtown sometime soon?
What a great ebay find! (I know it's crazy but I'm watching Twin Peaks for the first time at the moment (not very popular in France) I only have 7 episodes left and I don't want it to end!)
(And I'm actually working on a portrait of the perfect agent Cooper!)
i do hope you'll be uploading your rendition of agent cooper! Cant wait. :)
TWIN PEAKS!! that cassette tape is amazing, and so is that fabric! your dress will be super lovely.
My parents watched Twin Peaks when it first aired and bought the soundtrack on cassette - I was OBSESSED with it!
this is great! i watched twin peaks pretty much all in one go this year, could not get over how perfect it is. i like all the mean femme fatal characters, like audrey, shelley and josie packard. though dale is beautiful. xx
It's so easy to become obsessed with, right. :)There aren't many tv series that i like as much - pardoning the x-files and arrested development. It get's a bit lame towards the end of the 2nd season, but because of the insanity it's easy to forgive. i mean, Josie Packard turns into a draw handle. wtf?(Dale is dreamy! i'm forever going around in search of my own secret agent cooper. his eyelashes! Heaven!)
Thanks for taking the time to read my blog! I would love to know what you think.
