After what feels like an eternity, i've caught the painting bug again. That one where i feel like a lost lamb without a pencil in my hand and i stay up way past my bedtime just to keep scribbling.
It's a good feeling, but it seems like i only get this urge when i'm feeling incredibly blue.  Life, why do you do this to me?!?!
Anyways, here are this weekends efforts...

  6. These are simply amazing, I adore the cat and the first one and the girl at the table, just all of them basically. I think a lot of people tend to be more creative when they are feeling down xxx

  8. Meow indeed. Amazing! Love the last one especially.

And I understand the feeling, I write best/uncontrollably when I don't feel so crash hot. I guess it's because people are more creative when their emotions are so close to the surface? Hope you feel better though.

  10. Do you plan on selling the pill girl? She may be in love with her psychiatrist, but I'm in love with HER! The dance routine girl cracked me up; I love her attitude.

Hope you feel better soon; the blues are the worst.

    1. Hi Alicia,

Thanks, I hadn't planned on selling the original but i'd me more than happy to order a print for you. Let me know what you think. :)

    2. If she had come out of my brains/fingers, I probably wouldn't be willing to part with her either! I'd actually love to get my greedy little hands on one of your new dresses (swan, cookies, or grumpy girls), so maybe I can order a pill girl print at the same time? Would that work?

      Thanks!

  11. Amazing Caitlin!! I bet painting is actually what you turn to when you're feeling blue because it's something you love and it is cathartic. Maybe you just associate it with that now? and so when you're happy, you feel as though you can't draw on that creativity but I bet you can- somehow....it's just.....how? *end analysis* xx
